After serving 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, I retired in 2003 and soon after discovered The Peninsula—before I even reached the front gate, I knew this was where I wanted to live. We purchased our dream lot in 2004 and completed the construction of our home in 2005. Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving this community in several capacities, including multiple terms on the Board of Directors and on the Architectural Review Committee. Through those years of service, my focus has remained consistent: fostering harmony among neighbors and protecting the property values that make The Peninsula such a desirable place to live. Since 2008, I’ve been active in the real estate industry, earning my broker’s license in 2012. As a licensed real estate broker, I bring extensive knowledge of the Granbury market and a deep understanding of how sound governance and strong community standards directly impact home values. I’ve had the opportunity to represent many Peninsula homeowners in successful real estate transactions, and those experiences continue to shape my perspective on maintaining and enhancing our neighborhood’s appeal. My priorities as a board member are simple but essential:- Protecting property values through thoughtful stewardship and enforcement of our community standards. - Promoting a harmonious environment where neighbors treat each other with respect and cooperation. - Ensuring that The Peninsula remains the premier residential community in Granbury. It has been an honor to serve our neighborhood, and I look forward to continuing that service for another term.

The Covenants are absolutely important to the community, however they were written thirty years ago. Times have changed. In order to improve and maintain the beauty of our neighborhood, changes are in-order. The current Board has started that process. I want continue provide historical reasoning and common sense to changes in the Covenants which improve the neighborhood, are not overly restrictive, and easier to enforce.

While serving on the board these last few years, I have been involved in maintaining our roads and common ground. We have done road work twice these last 10 years. In 2016 we sprayed and crack sealed the roads and in 2021 we repaved 100,000 sq. ft. down Yucatan Dr. and parts of Scandinavian. We have a big job planned for 2026 to repair the turnarounds and repave 200,000 sq. ft. to finish all streets. I have been involved in repairing the boat storage area this year and rebuilding the front entrance to our sub division in 2024. I have enjoyed my time on the board and would love to continue my service as a member of the board of directors.
