As you know is has come to our attention that we prepay Waste Connection for their service for the month of May.

For those members who have contacted Waste Connection to cancel their service, we suggest that they contact Waste Connection to be sure that they will have trash service for May.

Update: 04/28/25

It has come to our attention that we prepay Waste Connection for their service. This means they will be picking up trash during the month of May.

Contacted Parker Waste Services and they changed the start date for their service to Wednesday 6/4/2025. For those of us who have signed up, your payment will cover the month of June. Not May.

Parker Waste Services does encourage us to setup an account with them as soon as possible, even though the service will now start 6/4/2025. They need to process the number of carts that will be needed for our community, etc.

I was also told by Parker Waste Services that their quoted price is good for the rest of 2025 and will be good for 2026 and 2027.

The Board is pleased to update the community that we made a decision on our waste service.

After contacting numerous companies, we have determined that Parker Waste Services gives us the best value for the money.

Attached below is the information that was sent to us recapping their service and pricing.

They were the only company that offered an "Overage Allowance". This gives each household the option to put 1 cubic yard outside their garbage cart(s) per month. 1 cubic yard is equivalent to two (2) extra carts per month for each household. That would give each household 24 extra carts per year if needed.

There is also a Bulk Item Pick-Up service. This would be at an additional cost. Based on the item to picked up (they require a photo of the item or items).

Please either call (817) 938-1504 or visit (www.ParkerWasteServices.com) to setup your account with them. Each household will have its own account number like we have now with our current service. Once you have setup your account, they will deliver their cart(s). They expect to have all carts delivered in 2-3 weeks. They will pick up your garbage using your existing trash cart or bagged or boxed trash left by your mail box until you get their trash cart.

Parker Waste Services first pickup would be on 5/7/2025.

Once you setup your account with Parker Waste Services, contact Waste Connection to cancel your service with them. Their next trash pickup for us will be 5/1/2025.

Parker Waste Services does not have a charge for Environment Fees or Fuel Surcharges. They only watch their landfill costs.

We ask all households to please switch to Parker Waste Services as soon as possible to make this transition as smooth as possible.

As it has been mentioned, it is critical that we have only one Garbage Truck coming into the neighborhood to minimize the wear & tear on our roads.
