Sandra and I pulled together to get our home ready for the Christmas party for all the neighbors. Heidi Beth gave us great support for front door duty and name tags for those attending. We had multiple neighbors volunteer extra chairs, just in case. My daughter, sister and brother in law gave us some extra manpower we needed. We have enjoyed 4 parties that have brought neighbors together over the last 13 years and this seems to have been the highest number of attendees at around 62+. We missed a number of neighbors who expressed their regrets per communication with Heidi Beth and myself. I saw nothing but friendly smiles and conversation, which we appreciate. Even all my new mother’s keeping tabs on me. I honestly did appreciate it. My understanding is another neighbor has volunteered their home for next year. Don’t be afraid to step up for a future endeavor as they are work, but very satisfying with the neighbors enjoying the time together.
