Peninsula Solicitors |
Peninsula Residents: I heard that we have experienced some solicitors within the neighborhood. We have a properly posted no soliciting sign at the front gate. As such per Texas State law, anyone knocking on your door trying to sell you something is violating the law. If this happens to you, politely remind them that the subdivision is posted no soliciting and ask them to leave your property. If they decline, call the Hood County Sheriff’s office and report them. If caught on private property, they can arrested for criminal trespass. If they receive the same response from every home they go to, I believe they will leave the neighborhood.
